Family Law
Kiran (she/her) graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Legal Studies and Business. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa.
Kiran’s practice includes assisting clients with parenting time, decision-making responsibility, child and spousal support, and property division issues. She represents clients with respect to parenting plans, marriage contracts, cohabitation agreements, and separation agreements.
Kiran is particularly passionate about negotiating fair settlements for her clients. While she strives to resolve matters out-of-court, she can provide a full spectrum of services and is a zealous advocate for her clients regardless of whether they proceed through negotiation or litigation. She regularly attends the Ontario Superior Court of Justice to advocate for her clients and attain the results they desire in their family law matters.
Family law is about providing compassion and guidance to families as they navigate the complex legal process. Separation can feel vulnerable and overwhelming, and she values the opportunity to ease the burden for clients facing such a stressful time in their lives. When advising her clients, Kiran provides sensitive, intelligent, and attentive counsel to ensure that clients not only survive their separation but thrive afterwards.
Kiran is counsel to Fresh Legal and practices in association with Fresh Legal, not in partnership.
